Ontario International Airport (ONT) is located in San Bernardino County, California and is the third largest airport in the state offering service 24 hours per day. It is medium in size, much less congested than John Wayne Airport or LAX. ONT is located 35 miles from Los Angeles. Twin terminals 2 and 4 serve passengers flights to both U.S. and Mexico locations, with destinations offering connections to other parts of the world. A free cell phone waiting area is available on East Moore Lane for passenger pick-up. Other parking options at the airport include both spaces for overnight and extended travel. Travelers should prepare to pass security checkpoints at the airport, and plan to arrive at least 90 minutes prior to their flight departure time.
Ground Transportation Options At Ontario International Airport
A variety of ground transportation options are available for those at the airport. Options include shuttle service, taxicab service, and public transportation.
Taxicabs can be hailed from outside of the baggage claims area. Fares for the taxi service are based upon your destination; however, flat rates can be offered for some places.
Hotel and airport shuttles are available, offering fees much less than those of a taxicab service. Many of the hotels nearby the airport offer complimentary shuttle service while the airport itself offers low cost shuttle that can pick up and drop off most any location.
AmTrak offers rail service for the area, and the city also offers bus and rail service to get you where you need to go.

Just because the airport is small doesn't mean there are not lots of options available. At Ontario International travelers can find shops, restaurants, and other services that they may need.
Each of the terminals is nearly identical in the services they offer. A total of six automated teller machines are available, with two in each terminal and one on the ground level. The airport does not have banking facilities.
