This Americar Company is a scam. They will try to nickel and dime you for everything. They said my insurance was not good enough to cover so I was to pay an extra 350.00 for their insurance. They were not helpful and finally after back and forth I told them I do not want to rent from them. They said they could wave the extra insurance charge but then wanted me to prepay a bunch of tow fees. This company is terrible. They finally agreed to cancel and refund my fee, which I am still waiting on....
On the day of my car rental, I was unable to reach the branch office by phone to arrange for pick up despite multiple attempts to call. I ended up having to call the main office. The main office person I spoke with on the phone was not aware that the pick-up service offered by the branch office would pick me up at my hotel and was not restricted to the cruise ship port, but I was able to get my phone call transferred to the branch office, who arranged for my pick up at my hotel.
The company did not pick up the phone when I tried calling. There was no information about airport shuttle available. The company location listed on the email was incorrect, and I had to take an uber to get to the correct location. They claimed my reservation was never confirmed despite confirmation number and did not have a car for me. They said they could give me another car but wanted to charge $2000 deposit. Worst rental car experience ever.
Also filing complaints w/ Expedia, where I found this ad. This agency is part of a collection operating under the Consolidated Car Rental office at 2301 NW 33rd Ave, Miami, 33142 provide exactly the same terrible service with droves of unhappy and annoyed customers returning to the Car Rental Center @ MIA and renting from a different company. It wasn’t stated anywhere that Priceless doesn’t accept canadian TPL insurance, and my reservation ended up costing me more than double the price I was supposed to pay. They literally steal money from costumers. They added a 15$/day SunPass charge to my bill when I said I didnt want it and once I saw it on the contract, they said it was too late to cancel it. They charged more on my credit card than the stated amount on my bill. The car they gave me was damaged and full of bird poop.
This place is too far away, so the Uber cost needed to offset the cheap price. They said only liability insurance was required, but they applied three types of insurance, which led to additional costs. They didn\'t send the receipt with the options included until I requested it by phone, so I couldn\'t know the details. The base cost is cheaper than major rental car companies, but considering the various unfriendliness, unknown additional costs, and the extra costs and time due to the lack of amen
The only reason I booked with Boutique rather than one of the majors was because it had a great rate for a convertible. By the time the hidden fees and $1000 deposit which was not clear about in advance were done, I wound up paying more for the car than I would have from another agency and they didn\'t even have the convertible available that I booked. Would not recommend.
The car was a newer model. The car operated as expected without any issues. The staff at Leisure are very friendly, and professional. We met a Leisure representative outside the airport and we’re quickly transported to their office to sign the paperwork and we’re off in the rental in minutes. Returning the car was also very quick and easy. I will definitely rent from Leisure in the future.
Horrible rental experience and will never rent from them nor would I ever recommend them. After waiting in line for over 20 minutes, I got to the counter and was advised my rate was going to more than double. I canceled my reservation and went to Hertz, which was a MUCH better rate and experience.
the ven needs a wheel alignment. Lucky i was only driving local - which was not such an issue. (P. S. I am glad you took the $$$ out of the CC for the damage that was caused, part of it was because that the wheel did not turn properly. But let it be - after all the damage happened while it was under my contract.) Renting an other one in 2 weeks. Never got my car. It was not located inside the MCO terminal as stated. There was no shuttle service. Nobody at the airport had heard of the agency before. I called the number on the reservation and it was invalid - it wasn\'t a U.S. phone number and was not active. Not even on \"whats app\", like stated. So after not being able to reach anyone or find out how to access the car I reserved, I was forced to spend hundreds of dollars on share rides, because it wouldn\'t let me cancel either.
We\'ve only rented from Andy\'s in the 35 years that we\'ve been coming. If we didn\'t get great service and a great product we wouldn\'t keep coming back. Everyone at this location is so nice.
Staff had no idea who I was. Despite me giving them the reservation number and showing them the confirmation for the rental I received two days before arrival they still had no record of the rental. Thank God they still had a car left over that they could give me. Unfortunately, it was the size of a bus
The staff was very helpful in rectifying the situation however, it was clear that if there was not an extra car sitting around, I would’ve been totally out of luck.
I was never able to get my rental because 1) the rental that I booked via Kayak said pickup was \"in terminal\" (I have a screenshot to prove it) yet there was no America Car Rental agency in the MCO airport terminal, and 2) there was no shuttle bus listed on at the pickup point for all the off-terminal rental agencies, therefore there was NO WAY for me to pickup my rental car. This was a complete scam.
This company is a complete scam. The confirmation email and the policy on site had different minimum insurance amounts, resulting in our policy, which has NEVER not been enough coverage to rent a car, being denied so they could charge an extra $10/day for additional insurance that we did not need. We were stuck with no choice but to pay the surprise fee.
The business model of a cheap daily rate to get you in the door, but outrageously high property insurance coverage requirement to force paying for the in-house, expensive daily coverage once you\'re there is disingenuous and, frankly, unethical. Outside of that, the experience was fine, but we would not rent from Clubs Car Rental, nor recommend them due to these practices.
The deposit was a banc transfer and still not refund, the payment in Cash to get from ATM, the car very less petrol, full with emty bottles, there are many subcompanies, no one know who is responsible, i booked pick up in Delhi Airport return Mumbai Airport, the pick up agent ask me to return in jaipur far away from mumbai, then they came at midnight to my mumbai hotel at the 10 to pick up, now they want to charge me 1 day more. Because i should be hold responsible. Problem with assistance.
When I arrived at the location, the staff did not find my reservation, until I showed him the reservation number. Even though, a staff whose name was Maria called me to confirmed my reservation made online the day before. However, when I arrive the location, the vehicle was not available at the location. I would not go back there again and I will not recommend this agency to anyone.
The car was in very poor shape, not very clean with a persisted musty smell. The trunk seal was always coming off due to all the frame being rusted. The vehicle was way below expectations and expensive for its conditions. I would certainly expect to be treated better, at least in the form of a discount. Thank you
The reservation and personal experience at Andy’s was great. The car however, left a lot to be desired. The outside was in good shape, for the most part, but the inside was problematic the seatbelt and the driver and passenger seats did not retract appropriately and so we’re very loose. The material on the top of the dashboard and the steering wheel was also cracked and peeling, it was very unattractive. The car did what it needed to mostly but it was not a great driving experience.
I never received a vehicle if I didn’t except the toll pass and I continue to explain that I will not be taking the tolls. I will need to drive to the supermarket into Home Depot. They said then they will have to take $1000 deposit only for a credit card then I said I have my own insurance I have American Express plus I have GEICO then they said I needed a $500.000.00 policy-then it became unbearable and the guy said I cannot rent from them if I didn’t accept the terms
