It took 40 minutes to pick us up and they finally wound up sending an Uber to get us. Once in the office, they didn't want to honor the on-line pricing or stated grace period. The car was dirty and dinged up. The trunk had to be slammed hard to close due to previous damage. Would not ever recommend or rent from again.
The vehicle when I rented it look like it was sitting under a tree for a very long time. It had lots of flowers droppings & dust
all over it. I had to ask if they could wash it, because I was going to a wedding. Also to return the car it would be nice if they open a little earlier then 8 AM since most people have flights to catch early in the morning & need to be there very early.
There were hidden fees that we weren't told about until the time of purchase. We appreciate honesty and transparency and this was not what we expected. The pickup location apparently was outdated and we wound up getting a ride from another shuttle company who happened to be driving by. Then they told us to use the hotel shuttle for an early morning ride to the airport and the hotel driver got mad at us and told us he's not supposed to? Bad business all around and we won't be returning.
The car was great, the price was good. The pickup/drop off process was awful at LAX. It's obvious that having one person to do the dropping off AND the checking in is NOT working - they seemed to be rushing as quick as they could and yet forcing people to wait while you go drop off someone else is ridiculous. Will never rent from AMPM again.
