You’ve landed in Costa Rica and after waiting for a while, hopped in a cab to take you to your hotel. Four hours later, you finally arrive. After unpacking and grabbing a bite to eat, it’s time to do some sightseeing before the sun goes down. You head to the front desk and ask them to call a cab for you. Half an hour later, you’re on the road to the rainforest.

Kids, Driving and Nausea - Not a Good Mix!

Wow, I never thought that the first week back at school could be so crazy.  Never in all of my 12 years of Elementary and then High School, 4 years as an Undergraduate and then 2.5 years as an MA student do I remember being so exhausted at the end of the first week of school.  And the irony of it all is that I am no longer a student!  So why, might you ask, am I so exhausted?  Simple answer: Kids!

Food Prep for Camping Doesn't Need to be Stressful

OKImage - let me start this blog entry with a disclaimer.  When I was online and booking a hotel room for my up coming trip to Boston there was a lot of commotion and distraction surrounding me.  My kids were running around chasing one another, my phone was ringing off the hook and I was trying to pack up myself, my husband and my 3 kids for our trip to Miami.  We were literally leaving that evening, and I had lots to do before we would be anywhere near heading out the door.&nbsp
