OK, I need help.  I am sitting here trying to write this blog and I have kids coming up to  my desk every 5 minutes.  They are complaining, "Mom, I am so bored... I want to watch TV, I, I, I..."  ARGH is all I have to say!

Every year, you and your family head to your favorite ski resort for a holiday ski and snowboarding trip. The only problem is that you have to jam all of your equipment into a tiny sedan or spend the money to rent equipment at the ski lodge. Why not consider cheap rental cars, like an SUV, for your mini-vacation?

October is a strange month. Some days, you can still pad around in your flip-flops, keep the windows open as you drive down the highway and sip iced coffee to stay cool. Other days, you consider turning your heat on for the first time since last winter. No matter how many warm days we still enjoy here and there, the truth is that the snow will be here before we know it. Why not prepare for the cold before it’s too late?

South America is a beautiful, diverse continent, full of culture, gorgeous scenery and delicious cuisine. It’s no wonder why you want to spend your vacation there. Unfortunately, some travelers return with horror stories instead of a camera full of happy memories. Learning the risks of traveling abroad will help you prepare for the unexpected, leaving you more time to enjoy your time away.

You’ve landed in Costa Rica and after waiting for a while, hopped in a cab to take you to your hotel. Four hours later, you finally arrive. After unpacking and grabbing a bite to eat, it’s time to do some sightseeing before the sun goes down. You head to the front desk and ask them to call a cab for you. Half an hour later, you’re on the road to the rainforest.

Wow, I never thought that the first week back at school could be so crazy.  Never in all of my 12 years of Elementary and then High School, 4 years as an Undergraduate and then 2.5 years as an MA student do I remember being so exhausted at the end of the first week of school.  And the irony of it all is that I am no longer a student!  So why, might you ask, am I so exhausted?  Simple answer: Kids!

So today's the big day - and just like many Canadian families like mine who have found a car rental deal, we're off to go camping at a beautiful lake in Southern British Columbia.  Just la famille et moi!  Am I excited?  You bet, although  I have to admit that the whole camping thing usually isn't my cup of tea.  I've always been of the mindset

OK - let me start this blog entry with a disclaimer.  When I was online and booking a hotel room for my up coming trip to Boston there was a lot of commotion and distraction surrounding me.  My kids were running around chasing one another, my phone was ringing off the hook and I was trying to pack up myself, my husband and my 3 kids for our trip to Miami.  We were literally leaving that evening, and I had lots to do before we would be anywhere near heading out the door.&nbsp
