Take a tour - The LA City Guided Tour will pick you up at the airport. It's a 3-hour tour of Hollywood and the homes of movie stars.
Relax at the spa - There is a spa nearby called The Body Wellness Clinic. It's located 1/4 mile from LAX.
Play a round of golf - The Westchester Golf Course opened in 1969 and is only a few minutes from the airport. It's open daily until 10pm so get out on the links for an enjoyable afternoon (or evening) of golf.
Head downtown - Getting to downtown Los Angeles usually takes about 30-60 minutes. If you have a long layover then head downtown and visit MOCA, Chinatown, Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Music Center, LA Flower District, Shopping Districts, California Market Center, or LA Fashion District.
