Vancouver International Airport is located on Sea Island, 12 miles from the downtown Vancouver area. The airport is known for their non-stop flights throughout the U.S., Asia, Canada, and many other countries. There are three terminals at the airport: Domestic Terminal, International Terminal, and South Terminal. The International Terminal includes a Pre-clearance annex for U.S. travelers. The South terminal provides mostly regional flights to British Columbia. The South Terminal transports passengers to the other two terminals. Travelers should arrive at least two hours prior to their flight departure time in order to pass security checkpoints and customs. Short and long term parking is available at YVR also.
