Frazier International History Museum
Located on Museum Row, the Frazier Museum offers 75,000 foot of space expanding across three floors. Exhibits, demonstrations, an auditorium, visual-audio displays, interactive displays, and a theater offer the chance to explore U.S. and UK arms, armor and other historical objects from the last 1,000 years. Included in the exhibits are firearms, swords, suits of armor, shields and medieval weapons. Traveling exhibits are also featured.

Kentucky Derby Museum
Another excellent museum in Louisville is the Kentucky Derby Museum. It is dedicated to the legendary Kentucky Derby that takes place each year in the city. Two floors of space feature trophies, exhibits, and history of the Derby. Guests can also take tours of the Churchill Downs' barn and infield areas, jockeys' quarters, "millionaires row" and press box.

The Louisville Zoo
More than 1,300 animals are on display at the zoo to enjoy, but there's more than that to see. Kids love the 4D Spongebob ride, and there are several playgrounds inside as well.
