Our family vacation was negatively impacted the moment we stepped into Allied car/truck rental. The gentleman that collected us from the airport, who also processed our reservation, was unfriendly and dishonest. Our rental, confirmed several times by phone before arrival, was changed, including the final pricing. Our debit card was charged twice—almost $2700! We flagged immediately, even going to their office in San Juan. We still have yet to receive a refund. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM ALLIED!!
Car had some issues (one tire was losing pressure, one door handle was broken) but they were manageable
Attendant at the san Juan counter was rude and unprofessional. He was unable to explain the reason for such an increase in price from online quote to the actual quote provided at time of pick up. I did not rent the cars that I had reserved and left to another company with much better customer service.
we waited 4 hours to get to the desk and we were supposed to have a car at 1pm we got it at 5pm

This agency sucks and I'll never use them again. Your employees are apathetic and rude. They hang up multiple times as soon as the call is answered before I can even say hello. Added fees without notifying me.
After paying for the car, it took 1 hours & 30 min for them to retrieve it for us even though we had a reservation made weeks in advance. This was quite disappointing, especially after a long travel time with kids in tow! Also, our reservation and quote was made for pickup in SJU and drop off in BQN. Upon dropping off our car in BQN, we were told we have to pay an additional $75 for dropping off at a different location. This was not written anywhere in contract or the quote. Terrible experience.
The worst customer service experience I have received from a car rental company. I’ll not come back to this company or recommend this company to anyone. I will go out of my way to make sure people doesn’t make the same mistake.
They didn't had reservation. Claimed when done online they don't get it. Honored the rate but kept adding fees. I have full cover insurance but according to them my vehicles had to be newer. Requested I add toll for 10 dollars a day Reservation was for 12 days. I asked if able to add when I actually am going to use it and they said yes. I wanted to travel to the east coast and called to add toll and was told they would backdate and charge to the beginning. Had to change plans and missed.
