There were too many extra charges that were not mentioned on the website.
Wait took 3 hours to get one car. Manager was very rude.
We spent 2 hours in line at the office waiting to receive our rental car (for which we already had a reservation). We arrived at the office at 1 am and did not leave with our car until after 3 am. There was only 1 desk clerk on duty and the process for each rental group was extremely slow. Unacceptable! If we could have found another alternative at that time of night, we would have left and gone to a competitor.
I called three hours prior to picking up the rental vehicle to reconfirm it was available, the customer agent assured me it would be ready, when I arrived to pick the vehicle it wasn't there at all, I had to wait for the Allied shuttle bus and be transferred to another rental location to receive a vehicle, this delay took an hour and a half after I signed the rental agreement, in additional I received a dirty vehicle which had a strong odor of cigarette smoke in it and the agent noted it..
Waiting for a rental car for over and hr then not getting what you requested and on top of that getting charge at the counter more with extra fees that wasn't on the itinerary when booked is very unacceptable. I rented from them 4 times in a row but i just can't stand the lack of customer service and appreciation for returning customers. I work for the airlines and know so many people that vacation in PR. Surely I'm never recommending this place to any of my co-workers.

Waited 1and 1/2 hrs for my rental car to be ready. Then had to wait 1/2 to return my vehicle. They are severily under staffed and do not appear to to plan for having enough cars available to meet in-comming customer demands. Overall a very poor experience (the 2nd and last I have had with this company).
It was a great experience and great customer service. Definitely will be renting from Allied car and truck rental again!
My experience was disappointing and nerve-wrecking. I waited over 1.5 hrs upon arrival at the counter until receiving my rental. My outgoing experience was just as horrible -- I waited almost an hour to return my vehicle and cut it very close to my flight in spite of arriving at the dealership at 5 for a 7pm flight. Insufficient personnel to service customers during what was clearly a peak period in the day.
