I especially liked the Camry Corolla, but I always like the cars I rent at AAMCAR.
Very FAST from when I walked in the door to when I drove away; I appreciated that. (Slightly longer lines and slower on return.)

Only option nearby for large vans
We requested an SUV specifically because we knew there would be winter weather where we were travelling. Upon pickup we were told that someone had failed to return an SUV and we would have to take a minivan instead. Fortunately we reached our destination without incident, but there were stretches where we did not feel confident in our vehicle's ability to handle the road conditions.
Renting cars in New York City is very expensive. Aamcar seems to be one of the better choices by price, but it is still very expensive.
