Only option nearby for large vans
We requested an SUV specifically because we knew there would be winter weather where we were travelling. Upon pickup we were told that someone had failed to return an SUV and we would have to take a minivan instead. Fortunately we reached our destination without incident, but there were stretches where we did not feel confident in our vehicle's ability to handle the road conditions.
Renting cars in New York City is very expensive. Aamcar seems to be one of the better choices by price, but it is still very expensive.
Employee said we needed to purchase an EZpass for the George Washington Bridge because there would be only cashless toll lanes. However there were 2 cash lanes on the bridge. Otherwise, had a great experience.
