I live downtown and am always happy to go to 96th Street to rent a car. The staff is consistently courteous, helpful and efficient. It doesn't take much longer to rent from Aamcar than it does to pick up a carshare car. And, as I am often traveling somewhere north of the city, I'd rather get to 96th Street by subway than driving on the West Side Highway. It saves me a lot of time.

Got there at 7:30am, left at 8am. 30 minutes to pick up a car...
I was renting the car to attend to a family emergency. They were flexible about the contract, and adjusted the rate when I returned the vehicle early. Much appreciated.
Car felt more like a compact vehicle versus a standard vehicle which I paid for. However you guys have some of the cheapest rates in the city so I'll come back. Would be better to have a few better cars on hand.
AAMCAR is about 100 blocks north of my home and, when using a rental agency, I'm always willing to go out of my way to rent with them. I also do use car share companies when the price is right but AAMCAR has made the reservation and pick up process so easy it really is almost as convenient. And the staff is always friendly and efficient.
