Ez Pass is always an added cost in NYC.
The guys working at Aamcar are super nice! But (through no fault of their own) the location makes me nervous every time I have pull in or out of their driveway into the rush of 96th St. traffic.
The staff at car pickup were very pleasant and polite, which is why I would have listed staff as "Great". However, the staff at car dropoff at end of reservation were not helpful.
The air from all four tires kept leaking and causing the warning light to go off, requiring me to fill them up every day, which concerns me for improper maintenance. When I reported this at the time of car drop off, the worker accused me of damaging the tires, even though this was an issue from Day 1.
Good.
Part of the reason I continue to rent with AAMCAR is because they are a neighborhood provider that doesn't nickle-and-dime me for every feature the way a major corporate rental company would. They know who I am there, they value my business, and I value their customer focus.
The people at AAMCAR are super courteous and friendly from the call to confirm to pick-up to return. And it is quick and hassle-free. It's a little old-school, but they make it work for you. I've used them before and will in the future. Very solid.
It was convenient to where I live but we would have liked the option of dropping it off Sunday night but you were closed.
