The car had the "check engine" light on the entire time. Otherwise it was fine.
Car had smoking smell but AAmcar reps discounted $20 as a courtesy.
The associates at 96th street are super. One of the reasons I continue to deal with your company. Just wish things wouldn't be so strict when it comes to holidays. Example is Christmas week. I needed a car for 2 days but you push 3 or 4 days so I have to shop elsewhere. Sad but I guess that is business. I am bad on names but Henry is aces. I will start to get other names because the 4 people I have dealt with are ACES. They know my name when they see me. Fantastic. Thank you
Really appreciated the no/low pressure to get "extra" insurance, which happens at the other car rental agencies.
Also, when we inspected the car, the agent was very clear what would or would not be a problem.

Overall, this was a great experience, easy and efficient experience. Next time we hire from here I will ask about how we can charge our iphones in the car as this facility didn't seem available and would be really helpful.
The van we rented, while comfortable, needed some upgrading and some service. There seemed to be something unbalanced about the ride. Then the actual tire pressure light came on on our return - so apparently that was low and it made for a bit of a bumpy ride. Other than that the staff were very helpful and courteous and the rate was fair as well. We would use them again!
