ACO rent a car is a total scam - myself and 3 other families were scammed by ACO. I never rented the vehicle and they still charged my credit card for $171.90 - this is the worst rental car service I have ever experienced in my entire life. NO NOT RENT FROM THEM = TOTAL SCAM
They have you show your insurance coverage and then have you sign a waiver so they can scam your insurance company for fraudulent damage to the vehicles. The vehicles they try to rent to you are older vehicles.
Our experience was not good. We were picked up promptly but the driver circled around 4x to pick up other passengers it took over 40 min from the time we were picked up til dropped off at the rental facility. waited another 20 minutes while the 1 employee took forever with the people ahead of us. From time we were picked up til time we had our car was over 1 1/2 hours. The vehicle itself was fine. But we were pretty much forced to take ins. or pay $600 dep. felt they would find away to keep it
Our flight was delayed. After looking for quite sometime for shuttle due to poor signage! I called. Attendant rude on the phone. Once we arrived they had given our car away due to not getting there in allotted time? Are you kidding me!! No assistance was then offered. None! They were rude and very unprofessional! If I'm on a plane how can I call to tell them of delay! I will never recommend the poor, unprofessionalism that we experienced to anyone. Believe me I'm being kind in my review at this
Hello - we are very upset with our car rental. We did not receive an email that asked we bring paper copies of insurance information and the agent would not allow me to email or fax the information to her. We ended up having to pay an additional $184.00 for our rental without the paperwork. I have never been so frustrated with an agent and your policy. She was unable to provide me with a manager to speak to about our situation. I will definitely be sharing our extreme dissatisfaction with all!
This is the first agency I've ever dealt with that demanded a current insurance card. We had one but it was 2015; however, it had our active policy number on it. They forced us to buy insurance which doubled the cost of the rental. Furious! No other agency does not allow you to decline insurance. Then we waited 35 minutes for a ride back to the airport. Three times we were told it was coming "shortly" by completely indifferent clerk. No, we will never rent there again.

why would you not provide the info on the insurance that we were force to pay for when we showed up. I declined and asked to be taken back to airport and your sales person said my family of 5 needed to take a cab back. $32 a day scam. I will never use aco and I am in a business that I deal with thousands of people a month and will share my experience.
Van was not at airport for pickup, when we called the lady told us her driver had been witing for the past 30 minutes past 8pm, this call was at 7.52pm. Once arrived at ACO, the lady proceeded to have an attitude. We miss understood the insurance card print out requirement, we have USAA and AAA but didnt realize we needed a print out proof. (Maybe make that in bold on your rental agreement, and not small print on the second page.) Anyhow, while helping us a couple came in and stated they were
Our quote was $115 for a week but because we didn't have a copy of our ENTIRE car insurance policy we had to buy additional insurance making our weekly fee $350. Quite a big differences! We also waited a long time to get our car. The car we rented was fine however. Don't think I would use this company again.
