This was the worst experience I have ever had in renting a car in Florida. I would never rent here ever again. Waited two hours for a shuttle pickup, never came. Had to pay for a cab to take me there. Waited about another hour there to get helped. They forced me to get the sun pass even though I didn't needed it for my trip. Would not recommend this company.
We had an awful experience with ACO Car Rental. The van to pick us up was very late. The rental facility was shabby and it was unclear where to enter. The lady at the counter was so slow that many of us waited 45 minutes or more to get our turn and she was our only option. The rate we were give on the online reservation as the total charge was nearly doubled and we chose to cancel and go back to the airport and use another car rental agency. ACO failed in every way.
We waited over an hour to be picked up by the shuttle, but it never arrived. I was hung up on multiple times when trying to reach somebody to assure they were coming to pick us up, and it is obvious the company is very poor, if even existent. Ended up having to find a new rental company on the spot, with three small children waiting through this entire nightmarish process. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM!
Even though I paid in advance, when I arrived at airport and waited for shuttle, nothing. When I finally got an answer on phone, it was from another office, that they had closed because ran out of cars. I said how can you run out of cars, I paid in advance. Was left sitting at airport trying to find last minute rental and ended up paying a lot more.
This is the worse company I have ever tried to deal with. I WILL NEVER RENT FROM THEM AGAIN!!! They never answered their phone when I called about being picked up. They still have not answered their phone days later. They never picked me up at the airport. I was left stranded on a holiday weekend and was unable to rent another vehicle. I still have never received a call back or an email about my "reservations". Horrible Company!!!

FRAUD!!! Too many HIDDEN FEE! (In the fine print after purchase) It would have been ALOT cheaper to have rented from a well known national agency AT THE AIRPORT. How was I suppose to return the rental car when my flight leaves at 8am and they open at 8:am??? I learned a very expensive lesson (financial and emotional) which I will share with everyone!
There was no shuttle at the airport so I never got a car. No one answers the phone. I had to pay for another rental car. This was a complete and total ripoff. It is the worst consumer experience I have ever had in my life. I am going to tell the airport that they should rescend ACO's license to even use their faciility. I will never use your service either because I now know that rentalcars.com could care less about the quality of the agencies in their site. Do these people even rent cars?
I did not receive a confirmation email with my voucher and I had trouble contacting the agency the day before by phone. No answer. They did have a reservation for me when I arrived, but I was uneasy not knowing until I reached the counter.
It took over an hour to get helped to get the rental, when arrived to return the rental the office was closed and had moved to a different location.
