I rented once an economy vehicle with rear-backup-camera which was super helpful. I thought that had become industry standard. I had to do a last minute reservation so the rate was higher plus it was a holiday weekend. Maybe with enough time the rate is lower? It was an easy to find and get to location by being dropped off in another car. I really HATE the vehicle recovery fee since I have full coverage insurance. I wish they would allow to drive out of Florida.
I've rented from many different co and internationally & have never heard of having to pay to use your own personal full coverage insurance ($10 a day)? They have cheap car rates but hide this ridiculous fee in their terms and then bombard you with it when you're there so you end up paying more than other rental companies. We asked the service rep to show us where it said this on their website and it took her 15 minutes to even find it. They charge you $10 to get dropped off at the terminal.
The Teaser rate quoted is substantially less than the REAL RATE after they tack on $10/day when you opt out of their insurance program.
The Car rental company charged me an additional $10 per day fee for using the collision insurance associated with my credit card that was not clearly spelled out in the original booking. I was told that it was written in small print in a separate agreement that you can find by clicking on a conditions button. any unusual fees should be part of the base rental charge so you can do a proper comparison of rental car companies.
I booked it online for a Toyota Corolla but was given a Nissan Sentra instead. Not to happy with the Nissan but overall good company & cheap

We came to pick up the rental car but were told additional fees of $10 per day would be added to cover us using our own insurance company for collision if occurred. So we used another rental company. Very disappointing since booking was done months in advance.
First the counter in the airport was poorly staffed and the line just continued to grow. Once I got my car the gas tank was not filled up. I noticed a few dings and noted them. We drove out of the parking garage and on to the interstate when we noticed coffee splattered all on the ceiling of the hyundai sonata. We had to turn back around and ask for a different car. Why? Well who wants to rent a dirty car and I did not want to be charged for the cleaning of the coffee on the ceiling.
Please provide more information regarding the charges for insurance options. Maybe that should be a required choice part at the point of reservation. I think that would help cut down on confusion when a customer arrives. Also it would be helpful to know full liability is required if a person wants to use their own insurance beforehand as well.
Awesome experience. Would rent from them again. I loved the upgraded car.
