Received email quote "Read the entire contract, Rental Rate: $30.00 3 days @ $10.00: $30.00 Coverage and Extra Charges: AIRPORT CONCESSION: $6.00 SURCHARGE: $6.00 Sub Total: $42.00 Taxes and Fees: SALES TAX: $2.94 Free Mileage: unlimited Total Charges: $44.94 USD" but they have other fees so total was $124 BIG DIFFERENCE!! Staff unhelpful and basically said it was my responsibility to read the contract where other fees disclosed. Reported to Attorney General FL.
It took an hour and a half to get to the rental location (waited an hour and called them three times after flight landed). We were then informed that we would not be able to return our vehicle prior to 8 am; that someone needs to be there to receive the keys (no drop box). Our flight was early so there was no way we could do that. Rude employees all around. Wish we would have listened fo all of the horrible reviews.
My rate quote was $87.31, and the price charged at the facility was $200. The service was incredibly poor. When I noted the discrepancy in prices, they simply said I could leave if I was not happy. Leaving was not really an option, as it was late in the day and already a 15 minutes bus ride from the airport. I felt taken advantage of by the staff, and I felt the staff on-site and via customer service avenues were not interested in helping and were not courteous in any way.
When I arrived at the airport, I called the number my email indicated but no one answered. I was on a really tight schedule and could afford to wait around until someone answered the phone so I was forced to go with a different rental company at a higher price. I'll be furious if they try to charge me anything for this "reservation".

I was nervous to rent from a company I never heard of, but there weren't any scams and they were very nice. My car was great. Off airport premise, but great experience. Not one complaint.
As soon as we dropped off the car, the girl working took us right to the airport to shuttle back. 5 star review.
even though I received an emailed confirmation after booking and I told my confirmation did not exist upon arrival. It was a lie because my confirmation number was the same one recognized in this survey. I would not recommend ACO Rent a Car based on this experience. Calling the customer service line wasn't helpful either they wanted me to go back online and book another car. I suspect they sold my reservation and didn't have any cars available for my rental even though it was confirmed.
No Show at the airport. The phone numbers provided in the reservation email doesn't work and After waiting for 2 hours I had to rent a car from another company, for higher price. Poorest of the customer service!
My bill was supposed to be $80 for everything, that's why I rented through them. When we went to return the car the bill was $160! That's double in fees they don't tell you about. Then we had to get an Uber to take us from their location back to the airport because they took too long. Never again, horrible.
Although it was difficult to make contact with the shuttle, upon arriving at the rental center the lady that took care of me was sweet and helpful and got me taken care of in a quick and efficient manner.
