This was my 3rd time renting with Value Van and Car Rental. Always, great experience. Definitely would recommend this company. And of course, would rent again from them.
Vehicle had and issue w the passenger door- apparently a sensor was not working and the door randomly would show as ajar though it was fully closed. Also vehicle's check engine light came on while in transit- thankfully it got us there and back.
Van was extremely dirty inside with stains on all the seats. Parts were missing or broke. Van needed a horrible alignment and wheel balance during highway driving steering wheel soak like crazy. Hours are not early enough. People working there were not very friendly at all.
When i got to Newark new jersey i called when i got off the plane because i was told someone was going to pick us up. When i called i was told i had not reservation after i had just spoke to someone a week before the trip. i kept being told that someone was coming in 30 mins as the African american lady was on the phone yelling at me someone finally showed up and when they did they looked unprofessional and the car smelt like smoke got the car it had a huge dent in it like it had been wrecked
