America Car Rental Renter Rated Reviews - Page 1

When I arrived to Miami, the car rental agency was no where to be found. The email confirmation of the reservation provided two non-working numbers and no email address. The company name wasn’t listed on the board for off airport rental agencies . flying from Africa with two young kids and being stuck for a few additional hours while we made alternate plans really sucked. I cannot stress how disappointed we are.

One of the worst rental companies I have ever seen. Too many hidden fees. My total cost was at least four times than the original price. I called them a day earlier to let them know about my flight delay and they assured me that it would fine. Yet they closed and I was forced to take Uber

The only good part of my experience was that the person who picked me up was very kind. The car I received was the one I expected, but it had so much air freshener that the smell was extremely strong and it actually caused nausea. The rest of the experience was very disappointing. The charges were confusing and not clearly explained, and the security deposit took longer than expected to be released. Overall, the process was stressful and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company,

This rental was a nightmare. Lights pointed down at the ground so it made it very difficult to see. I hit a pothole due to poor visibility of the lights and got a flat tire. Paid for an Uber back to my hotel, paid to put the spare and replacement tire. Very time consuming and expensive. Then another day the car wouldn’t start. Had to Uber back to my hotel again and back to the car the next day to meet someone to check the battery. No compensation and couldn’t reach anyone for support.

At arriving the driver was already leaving.. Ee were on time and I had to Chase him. At deprture, no driver was available so the country had to take me to terminal

I was charged a fee of $100 more than quoted for insurance that was never disclosed to me. Additionally, the fuel gauge did not work, and I ended up paying FAR too much (about 400 MNX) on fuel.

Worse experience ever! I had txt chat if my insurance was ok, I sent proof of insurance for evaluation and the reply was it was good. When I arrived the rep said no and demanded triple the cost of the reservation. I canceled the reservation and left. While I was there, I observed 8 other people get the same shake down and I will post this on social media.
