Upon landing I was informed the vehicle I had reserved was in an accident and there were no other vehicles available. I was not offered any assistance of any kind in resolving this issue. It was just sorry don’t have it, better luck next time. I had to use a different agency at double the cost and we had to rely on family to help get us around everywhere as we could only secure a 5 passenger vehicle for a family of 6. I would never recommend this company due to the lack of professionalism.
They wanted to put a $2500 dollar hold on my credit card just because I declined insurance. This is the worst company. I would never rent from here again
Everything was ok, the insurance requirement was unexpected and pricey. The checkout process was unnecessary and not timely but overall was acceptable. Would have been nicer if the driver drove us to the airport in our rental car rather than make us transfer all the suitcases and people over. Also there was only one person working which made everything take much longer....
I ended up cancelling because they wanted to increase the rate to $500 for the week and would not let me remove insurance. I did not have this problem renting from America in Cancun. Also the website states the pickup is inside the airport but it was off site and I couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone number to get info. The info desk in the airport finally helped after an hour and got us a taxi to the office.
