I have been renting from Andy's for a long time, every time I come to GC, never had a problem, they are honest and hard-working.
Our experience with Andy's Rent a Car was terrible. We booked a car in advance and had a confirmation handy. When we arrived at the agency, after half a day of flights and connections, the lady at the helpdesk coldly informed us that they did not have our car. The agency did not have (or was unwilling to do an upgrade as usual in such cases) any car to offer us in fact. More appalling, the lady the helpdesk did not feel the need to apologize or to try and help us. Her solution was to ignore us.
We have been traveling to Grand Cayman for 25 years and each time we rent from andy's. The service is great, the rates are the best on the island. I have recommended your car rental co. to several people, including my neighbor who will be traveling to GCM in April.
Andy's staff is always extraordinarily friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. We have rented from them in the past and will always return. The airport location is ideal for us, their cars are reliable, and the rates are comparable.
We were able to easily rent our car upon coming onto the island. We were about 4 hours late because of flight delays and they were still open for us to rent our car. Excellent service and ease of use.

Andy's is affordable but you have to wait unreasonable amount of time to get your car, even when there is no line. The paperwork just takes too long. We were there for 45 minutes to pick up our car and there was just one customer in front of us while there were at least 3 staff available. For some reason we were ony served by another staff member once the person in front of us was almost done. Then it took forever to print out all the paperwork.
My request for a right hand drive was not the first car provided but I was given one at the end. I always rent from Andy’s because of the location at the airport and the rates.
Our reserved vehicle was not available. No vehicles were available. We had to take a taxi. We will be cancelling our reservation for our return to the airport as we can’t trust that a vehicle will be available. We won’t be using Andy’s again. We understand fewer vehicles are available since Covid but the few should be tracked to know that nothing will be available and other arrangements could be made.
