Friendly staff. Would recommend.
Apologies the comments provided in survey dated Dec. 23 to Jan 1 were actually meant for this rental period and vice versa.
The Jeep's roof was difficult to take-off and put back on.
The vehicle rented was in poor condition both inside and outside (i.e. dents/scratches, back seat on the right side didn't work, air-con was weak, etc.). Andy's should have reduced the daily rate based on the condition of the vehicle. On pick-up the vehicle was also not clean
Everything worked out well.
This is the second time that we have rented a vehicle from Andy's. We were a group of 6 traveling and needed a larger vehicle. Andy's was one of the only car rental agencies that offered a large van and at a very reasonable price. The vehicle was clean and in great shape. Many car rental agencies in Grand Cayman either didn't have a vehicle large enough to accommodate, they wanted an exorbitant amount of money to rent a large vehicle, or we would have had to rent two smaller vehicles.
We found it absolutely archaic renting at Andy's. You wait for an available agent (each agent takes approx 15 minutes) with each customer - and that's with a reservation. All our paperwork was done in advance including a cc, yet we had to re-do everything again. You stand and wait and wait on pick up, then the agent leaves to go and take you to your car which leaves 1 less agent at the desk. The SUV was a tiny little tin can, old and beat up. Get your act together Andy's!!
seemed like forever to get waited on
This was our third time renting from Andy’s. The staff was incredibly slow and the car was incredibly low quality and in very poor condition. To spend over $700 for the week for a car of this quality and service is awful.
I got the car on 7/8 tank fuel and returned it on full and was not compensated when I asked. But had I gotten the tank on full and returned it on 7/8 you would have charged me!
Very shabby car that had clearly been poorly repaired following a rear end collision
