The car I requested was not available. I was offered another car but did not like that car. I asked for another car that seemed to be in the same category as the replacement, but had to pay another US$50 for this car. I guess because it appeared newer.

Everything was great, except for one major issue, the smell. They have covers on the seats which apparently were never washed and they smelled quite a bit. When I mentioned it, they put in a spray that masked it for a few hours, but the next morning when it was parked in the sun, getting in was pretty hard. We had to keep windows down all the time. Ask them if your rental has car seat covers and ask them to wash it before your rental.
Car was worn, particularly the interior where the central locking system didn’t work and window system didn’t always work. Car shouldn’t be rented given it’s poor condition.

I would prefer not to rent from Apex again. The process was not smooth. I had to be asking too many questions.
I had a great experience renting with Apex. I rented at the Kingston location and worked mostly with Christopher. He was great, very responsive and timely. The process was seem-less and professional. We rented the 12 seater and I would not have enjoyed Jamaica with my entire family as much as I did without it. I was so happy that they had it available and the value was great! I will be renting from them on my next trip. Thanks Apex!
