I love how Carzi does business. I'm used to doing the whole rental car shuttle and counter wait and paperwork lecture. Carzi was differnt. They promote it as contactless rental. I think that's great, but I wasn't necessarily looking to avoid contact, but it was nice to just take care of my own business. The instructions were clear. The car was there to pick up when I got there. It was easy to return. All in all it was a refreshing experience.
Directions were confusing to us. But we figured it out!
The rental was a very old car with a missing front plate to the roof, which allowed wind to come in, which was very noisy. It is time to either fix this car or retire it completely.
The rental process and return process was very smooth. Communication was on point!
This car was so bad and needs to be removed from being a rental car! Bald tires, over 116k miles with so much wear and tear, headlights completely fogged out, shook like crazy and everything that could rattle and squeak did!!! Too embarrassed to even drive it to our business meeting!!! If I was not desperate to get to an appointment I would have left it in the lot!!!
Car smelled funny, air conditioner didn't work, not a smooth riding vehicle.
First time rental was a bit daunting with all the new processes. Will know better what to expect next time.
I would suggest sending the pick-up/drop off email to come before the day of travel. I didn't get anything until the day of AND all emails from your company went to junk so possibly set up a text alert as well. I didn't have proof of insurance as it was in my vehicle at the airport we departed from.
Didn't have to deal with any staff witch was kinda nice and different from the way I usually do rental. The price was a bit steep bit it was last min. Overall great experience
