The experience of no contact and quick pickup/return is fantastic. The only reason why I have continued. This last rental made me question continuing however. The inside windshield had a film on it which made it unsafe to drive when the sun hit it just right. When compared to traditional rental options, there are comparable prices. The cars are entry level models so the seats are uncomfortable and no luxuries at all. Doesn't take long to notice how uncomfortable it is when driving.
Will do it again ! Maybe do a 1 min video walking users through the steps.
My overall experience was great. The only confusing part of the rental experience is locating the rental. Upon arrival, it was unclear how to access the outdoor lot and the rows were not labeled very clearly. It would have been helpful if the row numbers were at the end of each row.
Carwiz/ Carzi is awful! This whole business may be a scam. They said they could not authenticate my credit card, and kept sending me emails to authenticate it even though I had many times. They charged me $211 three separate times for a total of $633. They said they would be charging a hold of $400. After charging me $622 they cancelled my reservation without my request, consent or knowledge. They will not get back to me about refunding me my money, so I have to work with the fraud dept
I was really excited to rent the Nissan, but it got switched to a Toyota when I got there. I was a little bummed. But it got me to where I needed to go.
Pickup and drop off instructions were clear and incredibly helpful. However the car had issues, and the customer service was horrible. We were delayed coming back and the response from customer service was rude and threatening charges that were clearly not in the contract I signed. I was told I ruined another family’s vacation by being late, absolutely unacceptable.
Process was easier than I expected. Good car and no issues.
Other than finding the car during the pick up process, everything was great!
We rented a Nissan Pathfinder or similar. We received a Toyota Highlander. Our luggage would not fit due to 4 of us being on a golf trip. I tried multiple times to call and use the text and never got assistance.
To be told the morning of my trip that the car was canceled due to damages of a previous renter AND not offer a replacement is beyond unprofessional, it demostrates how unreliable of a business Carzi is. I'll make sure everyone in my circle who travels to Phoenix never use this horrible service.
