It was one of the worst experiences that I have ever had with a car rental company. I was forced to buy insurance and was overcharged (which i need to dispute the charges and talk to your company again). The staff was extremely rude and disrespectful
DO NOT RENT FROM TRANS CANADA! Not picked up from airport, paid $20 taxi fee to get to agency, were told to wait in line only to find out from ANOTHER customer they were waiting for over 1 hour and no car was available in spite of reservation.AWEFUL
Upon arrival I called & received VERY poor instructiions on where to meet the van, then we waited over 40 minutes for the van to arrive and were dropped at WRONG car rental agency-- lots of other problems
just had to wait longe ( more than 30 minutes) to get the car. but staff is courteous and helpful.
The car was basically clean, but inside of the windshield was obviously smudged and would have benefited from a proper cleaning. Significant vibration at highway speeds from the front wheels and/or drive assembly should receive attention.
After much waiting at both airport and office, we were gouged an extra $1.00 per day fee for "dealing with your insurance company" should there be claim--despite our proof of insurance from BC. After much argument, this "fee" was later refunded. NFG.
Size of car not available, had to negotiate to get a car as i was pressed for time or would have cancelled the agreement and gone to another vendor. At that point i had to take a medium size car and not a full size that i had ordered.
