Terrible experience, website says unlimited kms and when you pick up vehicle it’s 200km a day and 0.20 cents a km after that. What was supposed too be a $140 rental turned into $350. There’s not even an add on for unlimited kms to be added when asked at front desk.
I had to wait Half an hour to pick up car and when I booked online it says unlimited miles but when I was there to pick up they put only 200kms in a day .
This has been the worst experience I have ever had with a rental company. Staff was rude, they had hidden fees that ended up in paying double the original quote. I am sending reviews in every site I can because they play with the numbers as they don´t include all these fees and therefore they look as the most convenient option. I had to return my car a week earlier and they charged me for the complete service.
The car was great. The check-in experience was awful. I was the only one in line when I arrived and there were at least 10 more behind me as it took over 45 minutes for the check-in process. I don't know why, it just took forever and the agent was continuously distracted by other employees. The fees added on quickly and that wasn't disclosed during online booking. I am used to booking with Avis, Enterprise, etc. The check out process was also disappointing. took way too long and was billed more.
Such a bad experience waited 1h45 for a shuttle that was supposed to take 20 Minutes, they didn't have our mini van they were going to give us a small car, then we were given a car with a chip on the window which we didn't see after two days, we wanted to come clean when giving back the car and we were charged 850$ for that! They wouldn't even have seen that if it wasn't for us being dumb enough to be honest with dishonest car rental agency cheating when they tell you you have insurance!!!
I have rented from them in Montrel and they have always picked me up and got me to the airport quickly but this was not the case at Toronto . Had to do uber another customer and I waited 20 minutes to check car in and was told another 25 until shuttle came. This is unacceptable!!!!!!!!
I was unable to access details of the contract on line as the link was broken. I mentioned this when I checked in but was not informed of the daily surcharge for crossing the border. The first car I was given was unclean and the gas tank was on empty. Had to exchange cars. I did not find staff very open to feedback. My final bill was twice the weekly quoted rate because of fees and extra charges. Glad I had proof of my own insurance.
This agency has the worst customer service ever. My flight was delayed and they tried to not honor my reservation as a result. They kept putting me on hold and hanging up on me. I had to wait a long time for pick up by the shuttle, it took 2 hours to get my rental car because they were so slow and I almost missed my flight going back because of their slowness. The rental company I booked with was Trans Canada, but this was not them - it was EX car rental?????
Never, never rent from E-Z Trans Canada Car Rental. They are notoriously incompetent and a tremendous waste of time. The will cancel a confirmed reservation without notice on the same day. Go find another company and save yourself all the hassle in dealing with these clowns. The City of Toronto should revoke their license. It a shame subjecting visitors of this great Toronto city to these unreliable services. Tourists stay away from this rental!
Did not know what to expect but got super rate, was in and out fast with a new car, did not get any hassle or problems whatsoever. Nice!!!!
