Have been renting here for years. Always affordable and friendly staff. Smooth process
Service across the board was very slow Pick up from the airport was very slow. Checking out the people in line in front of us took way too long. Our transaction was relatively quick, but every other customer took forever. Delivery back to the airport after drop off also took a long time.
I understand that rentals are higher than normal. I took this rate because it was the lowest. At least the competitors are upfront about additional fees & costs. I was quoted $311 and left with a lower level car with a payment of $593. $150 of that was a deposit. I prefer to know what pmt is expected. No need to hide the fees, it just creates a poor experience. I’ve never rented a car with dents and water stains in and outside the car. Overall, I was reminded why I stopped renting here.

Good morning, and for all to read. This was our experience with Charlie Car Rental in Isla Verde PR. On March 6, 2022 upon returning the car rental at 4 AM we discovered that NO STAFF was in the office and a hand written note "BREAK" was displayed on the counter. Shortly afterwards the shuttle bus driver pulls in and when We asked him to drop us off at the airport so We can catch our flight on time He refused stating We had to wait for the agent on Break to return in half an hour. Unacceptable!
