I always rent through Charlie Car Rental. Never have had an issue. Follow the directions they email you and your in and out in minutes. Always professional. Considering all the signs posted about not getting the car dirty, return in clean condition, etc., I was surprised there was some gunk on the steering wheel controls. I wiped it off with one of the wipes I'd gotten on the flight down. Also, make sure you understand what your own insurance does and doesn't cover so you'll be prepared when picking up the car.
The staff at Charlie Car Rental in Aguadilla, PR were all helpful and friendly. They helped me with direction and researching local things. I would definitely recommend them to my friends and look forward to doing with them again.
