I booked cheapest car option but tried to upgrade after I seen the car but none was available. The car needs maintenance. Brakes are really loud needs to be changed. And feels like it doesn’t want to accelerate.

The staff was friendly and helpful-even changed our return center so we could get a shuttle to the airport.

We have been renting from Charlie's Car Rental for years. I couldn't think of renting anywhere else in Puerto Rico during our stay. The staff is super friendly and professional. No one can beat their prices and value. Their shuttle service is outstanding. The wait is minimal, and our last time we rented got a sweet brand new vehicle. I've rented 3 times in the last 10 years and I am glad to say each experience is better then the last. People are patient and courteous answer all questions and concerns and speak Spanish and English. Great place.
It might be helpful to let people know where to catch the shuttle bus at the airport. It was not very well marked at the airport, so that was a little confusing.
