The staff were helpful once we got to the rental, the drop-off process was incredibly confusing and time consuming. The vehicle itself was what we requested but not in the best condition. Car had bald tires, one of which looked like it was going to pop at any given moment as it was bulging. Windshield was cleaned with something that made it hard to see out of and the wipers did not work at all- not good driving vehicle when it rained. Also charging ports did not work and speakers were blown out.
I have been renting from Charlie Cars for years now.
Their prices are among the best (although renting a car these days is more expenseive anywy=here than i would like). Staff is friendly , effieicent , patient and helpful.

We paid twice as much as our quote. I would call and speak to someone before booking they charge you for all kinds of fees even to use your own insurance. Get the toll pass it’s worth it!
Car was comfortable.
We did get good value for our money, however the vehicle we had reserved was not available. We had to take a smaller car which was unfortunate. It was cheaper, but not what we had reserved. We were picked up promptly and the staff was courteous, but the whole process to pick up and return took too long. the vehicle was ok, but there was acid rain coating on the windshield which made it blurry to see out of, particularly on the passenger seat side. The car was a Kia Venue I believe.
Charlie car rental is the best on the island. Free shuttle from and to the airport and lines are never long they get you in your car asap! Charlie’s is the best we use them every trip to PR.

Car rented was very uncomfortable. Caused a pain in my llover back, that I had to use a pillow. Had no watee solution to clean windshield.
The car inside was dirty when I picked it up. There were opened, used water bottles, as well as, black facemasks underneath the seats. Which tells me, you guys do NOT perform Covid-19 cleaning in your vehicles.
