We love Charlie's. Our first two years in PR were terrible experiences where the cars we had reserved were given to other people. As a result, we started using Charlie's last year. Perfect in all ways! No complaints!
Charlie Car has the best prices in PR. They always honor the price on the quote and never try to overcharge you. The only issue I had with this rental was that the agent who rented the car to me told me that I had an hour grace period for returning the car and wouldnt be charged for it. When I returned the car, a different agent charged me an extra day because I was an hour late. I am not too overly upset because I should have known better. But it was false info that I cant prove was said to me.

This was the worse car rental experience of my life. They minivan was full of cockroaches. Everywhere. And when we told them - they told us that was normal. To top it off - we agreed on a 15% refund plus 2 days for the inconvenience. Then they went back on their word. I got 115 back for loosing 2 days of activities and driving with cockroaches. Plus the anxiety and stress of thinking they got into our luggage and thing. Never again.
Always rent here , the best ones
Good experience, rented a full month and it was a great car for running around the island. I brought proof of my own insurance and the declarations page and they did not hassle me with the up sell on their own insurance. It was worth paying $25 for the toll activation b/c expressway only accepts the equivalent of a Puerto Rican E-Z pass. Great rate compared to airport prices.

I had to change car's twice due to cars going bad or having technical issues. I'll go to a car rental place at the airport from now on.
