I will no recommend never this company. I was told that “Charlie Car rental” is an local owned company and if I didn’t get their car insurance, they and I quote “will come after me if something happened to the car”. I explained to agent that I have Progessive and I will be insured no matter what company, but was told again.... “those are national companies, your insurance work there but here it doesnt, we will charge you for all the damages.” I tookan Uber and went to Budget. Way b
All the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. They even told us the best route to get to the spots we wanted to visit. They were super helpful in helping us determine whether we needed a toll pass or extra insurance coverage. I will definitely rent from this location again!
I ended up paying double the quote online due to the insurance. It’d be great to have that information upfront to avoid the surprise later on.
Every year twice a year I rent from Charlie, the staff is amazing and when I call with a question they are polite and answer accordingly. Check out was quick and the ride to the airport for our departure was fast and easy. Again the staff inquire how was your stay and the car you rented. We don’t want to leave the island. The car as usual was clean comfortable and a joy to ride. Thank you Charlie🌴

Bad experiences i had with Charlie I had made my reservations about 2 or 3 months in advance I had called the office 3 times before traveling to make sure my reservation was good to go spoke with 3 different people Johnny, Keishla and the third guy forgot the name they told me my reservation was good to go for the 23rd which I flew out at 9 to get to PR at 230 am went to the charlie shuttle to find out my reservation was cancelled and on top of that the guy could not take me to office i stranded
