I had a great experience with Charlie Car Rental. I will rent from them on next visit.
Please make sure your cars are in good and SAFE condition. The rate I got was certainly not the cheapest (nu rental was cheaper by $100) but I went with Charlie rental because of the good reviews and I was willing to pay more for a better car/service. However, the first car I got had NO coolant, completely EMPTY. That’s very dangerous. Second car’s tire pressure light was on. Your customer service was good but please make sure your cars are better...

Overall, better experience than other ar rentals; in particular:
- no hidden fees
- no push to get their insurance

Pick up took over an hour. We have rented from Charlie over 10 times with no problems. We waited from approximately 3am to 4am for someone to come get us. We called and said where we were, and the driver never came. After our second call we were told to walk quite a distance from where we were in order to get picked up. The driver finally arrived and did not say one word to us. He also forgot to pick up another couple, so we had to turn around and go back to the airport.

Every time we go to the island - we ONLY rent from Charlie. Best rates by a mile and the locations are always so convenient to where we stay. This time we got a brand new car- it was awesome.
