Maybe give people a heads up if vehicles don’t have USB ports for charging and you need a regular car charger. Seats could be a little cleaner but I understand the sandy dirt people may leave on them.
Coukd use more shuttles at night. Took awhile to get picked up, other than that great rental.
The rental information is deceptive- even with a reserved car. The effort to sell us your insurance is deceiving. You only present 2 options for tolls. You do not mention that we could pay for tolls with cash as we do at home. The suggestion that you will charge over $100 for sand in a car on an island is also pretty steep. The location and convenience of the airport are excellent. The shuttle was comfortable but we waited a long time when we arrived and we trying to get to your office.
This is the third time I have rented from them.
No complaints at all. They even helped me find some information about my car insurance company when my car insurance company was difficult to reach on a Sunday night right after my arrival. 24/7 service was a big plus when all other car rental companies weren't working at the time of my late arrival. The pricing wasn't cheap, but better than most other companies. The car was very nice but smelled like cigarette. However, rolling down the windows for a few minutes solved the issu.
I received a nicer car than expected and the rental process went smoothly. I will most likely be going back to Charlie’s Car Rental next time I am in Puerto Rico.
Charlie is great but you REALLY have to take their advice about checking with your insurance! I was glad I did but there were many panicked/angry people in the lobby. Good value agency!
The Toyota Corolla we rented only had 320 miles on it (New!) and was really nice.
