This is not the first time I rent from Charlie Car Rental. This time as well as the previous one was excellent. They are very professional, efficient and the prices and vehicles are very good. I made the reservation on line and there were no discrepancies when picking up the car. Handling the return was fast and I was taken to the airport right away. I highly recommend this company.
The Condado rental location is the only location I will use- Venus, the staff person there, is an absolute delight!

Shuttle service to and from SJU is fast and courteous every time. Checkin and out is fast especially if you've rented from Charlie Rental previously.
there are a lot of "nickel and Dime" charges such as EZ PASS activation fee... your $40 rental becomes $75.
Also, I do NOT like the idea that the "deposit" is actually CHARGED to your card and then refunded when you return the car. YOu have the credit card number, it should be a proforma invoice used IN THE EVENT the car is not returned or returned damaged. Why should these people have the use of OUR money for ANY time???
My deposit was promptly credited to my Amex when i returned the car. They had great rates. I was very satisfied.
Since the hurricane the phone lines are down and they do not answer the phones , we had to take an Uber to get to the rental site which is off the airport. Very unhappy about this, I know this is not their problem still a mess Thu is a working cell number 787-378-5455

I have rented the car for 2 days. Car was clean and good on gas. Price was very reasonable.
My rental experience with Charlie goes back over 20-plus years. I have always found the rental service the best and the high quality has been stable through time.
