I wished the car would have been in better condition. Front bumper was loose and found stains in the back seat.
I never have problems in Charlie car rental....
Cheaper and simpler than "the big boys." Unless you're a frequent traveler and have rewards stuff with other companies, go with Charlie's. In January 2018 I rented a Kia Forte (base model with auto trans and a/c) that was brand new (a 2018 model with 3,000 miles on odometer). They didn't try to upsell me, and actually tried to save me money by telling me I didn't need insurance because my own US auto policy covered me. I knew that already, but usually places try to sell more.
Returning the car takes too long as there is only one line for everyone’. They should have a system for express return.
Car was clean and ready to go. process was quick , pick up at the airport was fast. will be renting again from this agency. Professional staff.

We've been renting from this company for years. The only delay was confirmation of my insurance.
I arrived at Charlie's later than planned due to a flight delay. As a result, the specific car that I had scheduled was no longer available. But the agent was very accommodating. He arranged transportation to my home, and then also arranged to have my car available early the next morning. I am very satisfied with the way he handled the situation. Unfortunately I don't remember his name, but he worked at the Isla Verde offine on Thursday, Jan 25, at 3:30 PM.
Servicio excelente, ampesar de que se cometio un error en el vehiculo entregado, me lo cambiaron y me dieron el credito por los dias que tuve el equivocado. Esta es mi segunda experiencia de renta, y lo volveria a hacer. Muy buena tarifa y servicio de recogido al aereopuerto excelente.
Make sure you have the liability insurance in puerto rico.
