I honestly would never again rent from any other company but Charlie's Rent a Car in Puerto Rico, they are HONEST and FAIR, they are not ripping people off like the rest of the US based car rental companies in Puerto Rico. I honestly do not know why would you rent from any other company unless you have money to throw away.

Service and car was great. Just disappointed, i was charged $12.00 extra when i wasn't able to bring the car back full. Hurricane Maria had hit and gas was very limited. I stood 5 hrs in line and all they let me get was $10.00 worth of gas. I really don't think i should have been charged under these circumstances.

The office called me on Sept 5 to request I return the vehicle by noon on my drop off day. I brought it back at 8:50 a.m., and was charged $29.70 for gas because I had not filled the tank up. I think that was unnecessary and rude of your company as I legally had the right to keep that car until 2pm that afternoon and finding a gas station that actually had gas was difficult at that time.. Because of this lack of courtesy on your part, I will never again rent from Charlie's, nor recommend them

Everything was great although when I was dropping off the car I waited 5 - 10 min. while the staff finished with someone on the phone. I would expect the one in person should get preferred attention first and the caller put on hold versus the in person waiting. Staff need to be more attentive or trained in that regard.
