The vehicle I received was underpowered for the mountain roads in Puerto Rico. I didn't realize this until I went to visit El Junque. However, most of the month vacation was uneventful. The small size of the vehicle made maneuvering the narrow streets easy.
I will definitely rent from Charlie Rental again. The process out and back in was very easy. The courtesy van was right there when I needed it both ways.

Bring your auto policy declaration page and auto policy number stating you are covered and you will have no problem declining their insurance. We had to call our provider when we picked up the car because we didn't have the correct documents. Best car rental deal in Puerto Rico. Staff was helpful and patience. Very easy check out process and free shuttle service was much appreciated. Car was clean, in great condition. Enterprise would have cost three times as much.

Some of the agents were not helpful explaining their policies. At times very confusing. They take a long time to process the paperwork. Omg they need to do something please.
