Be aware that they HARD SELL their insurance and almost try to force you to buy their insurance. Be prepared to show them that your insurance covers you in Puerto Rico and also leave a deposit on your credit card in the amount of your deductible.

Waited a while for a shuttle at the airport, but other than that, the experience was pleasant and efficient.

The price quoted is never the same when you arrive at the counter. There are unique PR fees & taxes never discussed during the reservation making it seem you are getting a good deal. When you arrive after a long traveling day & with little options for another rental company you are left to decide if you pay the additional fees or venture to another car rental company. In addition the agents at the counter are very aggressive on selling additional insurance even I presented proof of insurance.
The process went according to what Charlie Car Rental has posted on their website. Not only were they transparent with how they work they also exceeded expectations.
When I arrived it was nice to see 5 people working the front desk. Service was quick, friendly.
