We always rent from Charlie's Car Rental because of their great service and affordable prices.
The check engine light came on. We drove 1 hour to the nearest Charlie Rental office only to be told, "that light always comes on, it's o.k.." Should you not reveal that info. at the time of rental? It caused us stress and lost holiday time. The clerks were friendly and the airport shuttle was clean and efficient.
Great staff, drivers and front desk personnel are the most friendly persons I had ever meet.

Cars need to be clean more thoroughly as the one I rented has roaches.
I have used Charlie car rental over 10 times and this was my first bad experience with the vehicle. The vehicle seem to have a bad transmission or motor mount. Every time i stepped on the gas pedal the engine or transmission will snap hard. The vehicle was also uncomfortable as it did not have any rest arms. I was unable to exchange it as I was staying in Ponce and charlie only has an office at Aguadilla and one at San Juan both approximate 60 miles away from where i was.
