Waited in line for 45 minutes to rent the car; was charged a $250 deposit - I've never had to pay a deposit for any car rental in my life. My deposit has yet to be returned. I plan on coming back to PR - I won't be renting from Charlie Car again.

I have rented from Charlie car rental in the past. This is the first time I got a car that looked like it was ready for the junk yard. there were dents and scratches all over it. The A/C was VERY slow to work. The rental was a lousy looking car which was so-so in performance. If I wasn't pressed for time I would have demanded a better looking car.
Ralph at the Condor location was especially helpful when I discovered that my credit card was missing. He helped me contact the hotel and bank and provided detailed information for American Express to send a replacement credit card. Fortunately, I had a second credit card and was able to get on my way. Many thanks to Ralph for helping turn what could have been a fraudulent situation into a minor issue.
i was somewhat concerned with the 1st car that was offered to me for it was not in satisfactory condition, but the representative was able to offer a vehicle that was in better condition and i felt safe, which was critical for my trip.
