Have rented many times from Charlie over the years---very good experience and good value for the money. For this rental, the price was very fair for the car; our only issue was for some reason the passenger side seat sat extra low and there was no where to make any adjustments so it felt that my wife was sitting on the ground of the car---there was also a cigarette burn mark in the passenger side seat. We loved the free shuttle to the airport---which was very nice.

Most rental car companies in San Juan have terrible reviews - hidden fees and charges, being blamed for pre-existing damage, long waits for pickup and check out, etc. I had rented from Charlie Car before, so I felt confident that my experience would be ok, even though their price was higher than other rental car companies. The van driver was great and very helpful. I wish the check out and check in process were faster.

I had a great experience renting with Charlie Rentals. I thought the price was reasonable. I was picked up promptly from the airport and dropped off as well. I will definite;y rent from Charlie again.
The car smelled very bad. It had a wired scary noise. Lack power and had to travel most of the time in the right lane. At time of return the staff person spent all the time on the phone on a personal matter and bearly pay attention to me.
