This was my worst experience renting a car. The price quoted online was not honored and I was not able to pick up the car because the pick up cost was five times the price of how much I reserved it for. I had to go the entire weekend using Uber as opposed to renting. I will never rent from this company again or recommend to friends. They do not allow you to reject insurance, even though I have my own insurance.
Great experience.I was cancelled by the other company and didn’t know what toy do.I found DFG Rent a Car and my booking was accepted and after few minutes I have received a call that driveway is on a way to pick me up.Thank you for your assistance I will definitely choose this company for my future trips!
This company conducted themselves poorly overall during the reservation & car pick-up process. They'll allow you to reserve a vehicle with normal responses to their FAQs on the confirmation page, and make no mention that these normal FAQ responses DO NOT ALIGN with their own company Terms & Conditions. Then at vehicle pickup, they'll hit you with another charge/fee, often more than what you thought the total price of the reservation was to be. FALSE ADVERTISING at it's finest.
From the day of my reservation, they contacted me and provided instructions for the pick-up. I sent a couple of emails with questions, and they clarified everything without any issues and on time. At the office, a friendly team offered water to me and my family and gave us a car seat for my son because we lost ours during the flight. Without a doubt, they were very kind, and we are grateful to them! The only thing I didn’t know was that I needed to bring my proof of insurance, but they helped
The agent who assisted me was incredible; they clarified all my doubts and gave me amazing recommendations for my vacation in Tampa! A new car and they helped me make it economical with the gas.
I have car insurance and opted out to purchasing yours. However, I was told I needed the declaration page or I would have to purchase your insurance. So, being that I was not at the airport, I had no other choice but to purchase your insurance for your daily rate. I was not told that at the booking nor per my phone conversation with your staff. I always rent cars, and never had to give a declaration page.
Also, my car had rear damage, which wasn't the nicest looking.
