The vehicle I requested was available, however the van had a smelly funk on the seats and the exterior had plenty of defects. The staff was very rude and used profanity from the minute I walked in. They assumed I was an employee, because they never asked if I needed help. They were upset at me for calling customer service ("my boss") and complaining about my 25 minute wait. I explained that the first words when I walked in were "we are closed, but you may wait inside if you want!" Unprofessional

Amazing customer service over the phone and in person. The easiest transaction as far renting in all of my experiences in life!!! I love Empire Car Rentals. My new favorite company!
This Was My first time Renting From this Place and the Service was fast and the people was excellent and very respectful even in time of customer giving attitude 😉😁 they still held their attitudes and kept everything nice and business wise.. WHICH IS AN EXTRA PLUS THE VEHICLE WAS GREAT. THE ONLY THING I VAN SAY IS THAT THE PRICE SHOULD BE A TAD BIT LOWER. They are great with communicating and respecting their customers.. I will refer please try people here including my company .. sincere

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EXCELLENT ALWAYS LIKE RENTING FROM EMPIRE
I changed the reservation but when I called the day before, the change hadn't been registered in their system (I had the confirmation email). Luckily they had what I needed in stock but considering that I'd booked three weeks in advance, it was disconcerting how wrong things could've gone. When I got there, they put a $250 hold and then when you come back they refund the unused portion. Nowhere on the website does it say that they do that, it only tells you your quote and price per mile.
