Everyone I dealt with at Empire Rent A Car were helpful, courteous and eager to work with me.
Good to have 8 seats vehicle which can not find at other car rental companies
A detailed cost sheet should be provided after reservation request. You should not be told on rental pick up day of additional cost. Felt trapped because I had to agree to fees.
Some charges were applied that wasn't communicated with me in advance
With only one agent. When faced with a difficult customer is causes everyone else to wait much longer than necessary. It would be ni e for more than one agent to be available to handle customers who are waiting patiently

Stay away….absolutely terrible customer service. When you call the phone just rings, when you do get someone on the phone they are short with you so they can get to other callers. Office hours are not regular business hours forcing you to leave the vehicle on the street, and in the contract states you are responsible to damage to the vehicle. STAY AWAY you have been warned.

From beginning to end the attention and service were wonderful and very friendly. I will definitely be using them once again.
The only con was that pickup was not done with the vehicle requested, so that the entire family of 10 could leave the airport. The family had to wait an extra hour at the airport. That was extremely inconvenient, after traveling from the day before with little sleep.
Otherwise everything was fine, would rent again.
