Made a reservation and called the number given but no one answered for 2 days. Got to the place with my email and screenshot, and they said they don’t have my reservation on file. Then told me they didn’t have the car I reserved. After speaking with the manager of the site, they told me it was a $300 deposit which I knew nothing about, a different car which cost more than the one I reserved & they said if I didn’t have insurance I had to purchase theirs for $163 a day. They wanted $690. No
I rented a truck from Empire, and when I arrived on time with my email reservation the vehicle was not their. They where not able to get me another vehicle. I had to move out my entire three bedroom house that same day. It was a Sunday morning. SMH. So they left me needing a 26 foot truck. The gentleman at the front desk said he was looking to see if he could get me another truck and would call me if he found anything. Obviously he didn't' find anything and did not give me a courtesy call. Fail

I must admit the beginning of my reservation process was a bit rocky. However the customer service at the Gun Hill location was wondrous. Ray was a great help. Not only did he help me select what I need to assure a safe and comfy ride on road. He assured great prices with no surprises

There was no car available despite the reservation. I missed my sisters high school graduation. The mistake on your part created an absolute nightmare.
I wish they would give me a full tank and a clean car. They don't do that. On the other Hand, and agent by. name Marleen was just GREAT to deal with. She understood what I was looking for and gave full attention. THAT made a whole lotta difference.

My biggest issue was that the day before my rental, I called to confirm my reservation as instructed. The associate too down my information. On the day of pickup a different associate asked to confirm much of the same information I provided the previous day. This led to unnecessary delay in finalizing the reservation and it took about 30 minutes in total. That kind of delay is unacceptable.
