Everything was handled professionally and the staff made my experience stress free. I would definitely use this company again.
It went great
I returned the vehicle, 1h 15 minutes late and charge $143 for the lateness. Did not anticipate the NYC traffic. You should implement a hourly rate in this event, as a prorate to the the 24 hours rate. I paid 292 for 24 hours. And 143 for 1h 15mins.
Great experience
Great value and convenient location (rather than going all the way out to JFK). The car was fine, although very dirty inside upon pickup.
This was my first time renting from Empire Rent A Car and my experience was great thanks to Beverly. Her customer service was on point. Coming from someone that has been in retail for 20+ years, so I know the importance of it and it's hard to come by. Beverly was very polite, professional and asked about my time with the rental. She gave a lasting impression that I told her that I woukd be back. Thanks Beverly for making my first experience a great one 😊
Excellent rental agent
Over all this was a poor experience from the moment we got to the counter and 2 of the women standing there said they were on break and we had to wait for a 3rd period who then barely spoke to us had a puss on her face and got short tempered when we asked questions. The rental car had Springs that were terrible the car squeaked and made noise and was uncomfortable in the rear of the car. There were dents all over the vehicle although it was clean inside. When I called to confirm, the agent told me none of my reservation would be honored and changing it would double my fee. It was made more difficult, the agent was not helpful and did not offer any way to make up for all the changes and extra fees. I was very disappointed and cancelled my reservation. I do not plan on using Empire every again.
