The price was good, however I was told I could pay for the rental in cash which was not true. So last minute I had to take an uber to deposit the cash. I was also told that the deposit would be given back the day i take the car back which also was not true. I have to wait 5 business days to get my money back.
My reservation was not ready until 2 hours later that day.
Empire Rent A Car was a real pleasure to rent from. They had the most competitive prices around, multiple locations, and an actual friendly and capable staff. The service was extremely personal - something that I really appreciate - and the car drove well; check out was quick and smooth - zero hassle. I definitely recommend Empire and will keep them in mind for all my future rental needs.
The 12 passenger van was wonderful (6 adults 3 children)but there was a lot of miscommunication from the time I reserved in March and settled all the details to when I called to confirm two days before our trip...thank God I did because our info was not found, had to resend credit card, license, etc...originally told that we would just sign contract at terminal and be on our way which wasn't the case at all. Had to go all the way to rental to drop off driver and refill out ALL paperwork again!

The car was nice and $170 for two days is a great price! It’s sucks that I missed out on nearly an entire hour that I paid for because there were 7 people ahead of me and one team member to help us all.
A car should be ready a night before or promptly at the of pickup. And a car wash shouldn’t be just sprayed water over the vehicle. I had to wash the windows when I got home. Visibility was spotty.
