We have used Empress several years in a row in St Maarten. Their rates are competitive if not better than most. Staff are very attentive to requests and concerns with their vehicles. Pick ups and drop offs are comfortable and efficient.

Used this company two years in a row, so, it was no fluke.
The same story each year - Never got a car that was originally booked. Poor car conditions. Gas tank was not filled up. Had to exchange the cars due to its condition.
Wouldn’t recommend it. Most likely would use different company.
